What is Strep Throat?

Strep throat is caused by bacteria.Strep throat is an infection of the throat and tonsils.

Causes?

Bacterial group Astreptococcus cause Strep Throat. The bacteria live in the nose and throat.Infection can be caused from someone sick with strep A bacteria or a carrier of it.People when sick cough or sneeze release droplets into the air that hold the bacteria.

Symptoms

Strep symptoms are:

A fever of 101 F or higher.
Red, swollen tonsils.
White patches in the throat.
Tiny red spots on the roof of the mouth.
Appetite loss.
Stomachache.
Headache.
Nausea, vomiting.
Rash.
